VIRTUS TRAINING FOR ST. RAPHAEL MINISTRIES
The Catholic Diocese of El Paso has implemented the "Protecting God's Children" program (VIRTUS) in order to ensure that children and youth, who worship, study or participate in activities sponsored by the Diocese's parishes and parochial schools will do so in the safest environment possible. The Diocese requires that all volunteers 18 years old and older who are active in a ministry undergo a background check and attend one VIRTUS training session. Register on virtusonline.org for the class and complete your background check.
Pay fee in the rectory.
Attend the 3 hour VIRTUS training session.
Turn in a copy of your VIRTUS certificate to your ministry leader.
